University of Warwick Women’s Hockey club

The UNIVERSITY of Warwick Women’s Hockey Club (UWWHC) is a well -established, forward - thinking, prominent club at the univeristy. With over 100 members, we are one of the largest female sports clubs on campus. We offer students the opportunity to participate in regular sporting activity, regardless of their skill level.

3 of our teams are competitive, competing in the national British universities and Colleges sport (BUCS), and the midlands regional hockey league, whilst our 4th team hosts a social and beginners team, with REGULARLY organised friendlies and focused training sessions for beginners to foster an inclusive, Welcoming environment

The Club has access to the facilities available at the University, including a water- and sand-based pitch and the sports and wellness hub. The bi-weekly training sessions and extra weekly fitness classes allows for high-intensity, high-standard performance sports training, as well as a more relaxed fitness space for our social players.
