Teams Elite Synchronized Skating Team

The Teams Elite program is beginning its 22nd season. Synchronized skating combines the grace of ballet, the elegance of ice dancing, and the thrill of split-second maneuvers. Each team skates as one unit, executing difficult patterns with speed and precision. Our goal for the Teams Elite program is to challenge the strength and skills of each skater by offering a variety of well-rounded opportunities that meet the competitive needs of the synchronized skating community. Our goal is to develop a well rounded athlete, starting at national competition levels, athletes are coached in nutrition, sports psychology and are encouraged to take on leadership responsibilities within their team. We want to empower athletes to achieve their highest potential. Staying focused on our goal has led to dramatic program growth, attracted exceptional coaches, created friends for life, and produced a world level synchronized skating team. . Teams Elite is made up of several teams of skaters with various skill levels, spanning ages 6 to 19. Our teams compete locally, regionally, and nationally and our Junior level team is part of Team USA, representing U.S Figure Skating at international competitions. We have been competing for 22 years and have recently become an independent, solely-funded organization. We are based in Northbrook, Illinois, but our skaters and families come from all around the Chicagoland area and Southern Wisconsin.
