My name is Aziz Degenbaev and I’m a 19-year-old FIDE Master and National Master of Kyrgyzstan and the United States

Over the years, I have:

• Become a multiple-time national champion of Kyrgyzstan.

• Earned medals at prestigious Asian Championships.

• Won the U18 World Championship among school teams.

This year, I am honored to represent my country at the World Rapid & Blitz Championship in New York, a tournament that brings together the best players from around the globe.
